1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing or using the IT'S_MY_SLATE website, creating an account, or placing an order for 3D-printed aftermarket components from It's My Slate, LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our website or purchase our products.
It's My Slate is an independent aftermarket parts maker. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Slate Auto, and our products are not manufactured or warrantied by Slate Auto.
2. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION & SECURITY
To place orders or access specific features of our catalog, you may be required to register an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account details updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3. PRODUCTS & SPECIFICATIONS
We strive to display product images, dimensions, material grades, and specifications as accurately as possible. However, due to continuous design improvements:
Catalog Components
All parts are 3D-printed aftermarket accessories designed to fit the Slate Truck, and fitment is verified against a real vehicle before a design is added to the catalog. Specifications are subject to manufacturing tolerances and material enhancements without prior notice. We do not accept customer-submitted CAD files or offer custom fabrication.
4. PRICING, PAYMENTS & ORDERS
All prices listed on IT'S_MY_SLATE are in US Dollars (USD) unless explicitly stated otherwise. We reserve the right to modify prices or correct errors at any time prior to order confirmation.
- Payment Methods: Credit cards and electronic payments are processed securely via PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways (Stripe).
- Order Acceptance: Receiving an order confirmation email does not signify our final acceptance of an order. We reserve the right to cancel or limit order quantities at our sole discretion.
- Taxes & Freight: Applicable state and local sales taxes will be calculated and collected at checkout based on the delivery destination. If sales tax is not collected by us for a particular jurisdiction, you remain solely responsible for any applicable state sales or use taxes due under your local tax regulations.
5. SHIPPING, FREIGHT & RISK OF LOSS
Shipping is charged as a flat rate determined by each product's assigned shipping class and your delivery destination:
Territorial Limitation: Products and services offered on IT'S_MY_SLATE are available solely to customers located within the United States (including all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and US territories). We do not accept orders or ship to international destinations. Any orders placed for international fulfillment are subject to immediate cancellation and refund.
Delivery & Freight Terms
All purchases of physical items are made pursuant to a shipment contract. Risk of loss and title for items pass to you upon our delivery of the package to the carrier. Please inspect your package upon delivery and report any shipping damage within 7 days.
6. INSTALLATION & SAFETY DISCLAIMER
Installation Responsibility
Products should be installed according to the included instructions, and any mounting hardware should be torqued to the vehicle manufacturer's specifications. It's My Slate, LLC is not liable for damages, accidents, or failures resulting from improper installation or unapproved vehicle modifications.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on IT'S_MY_SLATE—including logos, design systems, product catalog data, graphics, and software—is the property of It's My Slate, LLC and protected by intellectual property laws.
Trademarks: "Slate Truck" and "Slate Auto" are trademarks of their respective owner. Their use on this site is solely to describe vehicle compatibility and does not imply any affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship.
8. WARRANTIES, RETURNS & REFUNDS
We stand behind the craftsmanship of our engineered components:

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, It's My Slate, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages—including loss of profits or business interruption—arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of our products or website.
State-Specific Exceptions: Some state laws do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion/limitation of certain damages. If these laws apply to you, some or all of the above disclaimers, exclusions, or limitations may not apply to you, and you may have additional rights under your state's laws. In such states, our liability shall be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Informal Resolution: Before filing any claim against It's My Slate, LLC, you agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting legal@itsmyslate.com. We will attempt to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days.
Class Action Waiver: You and It's My Slate, LLC agree that any legal proceeding or dispute resolution shall be conducted strictly on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
11. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. The "LAST UPDATED" legend at the top of this page indicates when revisions were made. Your continued use of the website or placement of orders following any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
